photo update

The weather keeps jumping around. It was super warm and sunny last two week but this week it's been kinda cool and wet. But rain is good sometimes, it refreshes the air a bit. I think the pacific northwest is giving me allergies. I've NEVER had allergies but every morning, I wake up with a stuffed up nose :( my roommate says her allergies got worse when she moved here... doh...

Anyways, here's a few photos of some of the fun things I've been doing out here! Lots more to come later! Enjoy!

Because the weather has been so nice, I've been doing a lot of hiking. This is hiking at Rattlesnake Trail. We also went outlet mall shopping afterwards. We didn't buy anything but we did find the shoe sizes to be photo-worthy!

This is us at the airport welcoming my roommate's little sister to Seattle. It was quite hilarious holding up big signs and having people stare and laugh at us as we waited for her at the gate. Ajma was extremely excited about wearing those birthday hats...

This is our super awesome sea kayaking trip off of the San Juan Island on July 3rd. We saw orcas! Lots of them! Check out my cool purple kayak and my mad paddling skills =P I'm paddling with my friend/neighbor Poe. He's from Australia!

For the 4th of July, I spend the day at Gasworks Park where we had a picnic and waited for the fireworks. There were lots of people there! The firework display was amazing! I was really impressed by the show. Photos of fireworks was taken by ajma and his fancy camera which really captured the colors! I'm also a big nerd, I brought my study notes w/ me to the park...

This is the giant spider we found in our room. Lets just say it didn't stand a chance against my roommate and a bottle of Chlorex bleach. It was a hilarious sight for me watching her spray clean the spider to death. Even though the bleach didn't kill it. I think it immobolize it but then I had to come along with paper towel to end its misery.
