beautiful weekend

This weekend has been absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the temperature was perfect... for ROLLERBLADING!

yes, you read that right, I went rollerblading in the middle of winter! but before going rollerblading, I bought ROLLERBLADES! finally, my own pair of good rollerblades. No more Bi-way rollerblades (yes, that's right, my rollerblades back in Toronto were bought at BI-WAY! so old-school). Best part is that I actually enjoyed rollerblading this time, my feet didn't hurt and I didn't fall! Seattle has its crappy rainy, grey days during the winter but then, it also has days like this weekend where it feels like spring, you can see the mountains and you can go rollerblading!

We went blading at Alki Beach, which was really pretty. It had great views of the Olympic Mountains and the bike path was nice and wide.

Then on Sunday, we went to Discovery Park and did a short little hike. The views were beautiful as well, with the sun setting in the backdrop. As my friend Ling said, it was quite romantic! she was right! ahahaha!

(In case it's not obvious, I'm totally promoting what a great city Seattle is. So everyone start moving here! We can go rollerblading! :D If you don't know how, you will!)
