5 weeks, 9 countries, 15 cities and still standing on 2 feet... barely
I'm home! can't believe the three of us made it back without killing each other.. although there were many occasions which begged for it... 3 very different people travelling for 34 consecutive days is a huge feat in itself! It's going to take a few days for everything in my head to process... all that we did and saw and ate! I'm still in a very dazed stage...
I'm back? Did I really do all that I did in Europe? Did an entire month really go by?
so much photos to upload and sort.. haha, I don't think I'm even going to remember what the pics I took in the very beginning are! it's good to be home... i miss my room, although the little sis practically took it over and her stuff is EVERYWHERE!!
I was really jetlagged last night... got back around 5pm in the afternoon but I still went to fellowship. I missed being in the church. Even though there were churches and cathedrals everywhere in Europe and we went to almost every single one of them, the church that I miss is the body of Christ, where I get to worship our awesome Creator with my fellow brothers and sisters. I didn't get a chance to attend any worship service while in Europe except for half of a wednesday evening mass at St. Paul's cathedral (where Charles and Di got married!:). I also did a horrible thing by forgetting my Bible at home! I felt so dry and always thirsted for the Word. Although the Lord never left my mind or sight. Every cathedral, every painting and sculpture, every ornament and inscription was a reflection of how the architect and artist revered God, how they used their talent to depict the glory and splendor of our King Even though many are questionable for its accuracy, I still marvelled at how Christ was always the centre of attention. Many times in my trip, I found myself high above the city I was in, looking down and across the vast land before my eyes and I found myself always in awe of all I see. Man can build as high and as much as they want but it is incomparable to God and all that He's built.
Anyways, more reflectons later...
the pho was good last night...mmmm... and Vita lemon icetea... so good...
