It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas =)
I've had quite the productive day. I woke up at 8:30am, had breakfast w/ a friend and actually did some work on my portfolio! Not quite done yet and I still have the essay to write... hoping to squeeze in a few more hours before heading to bed.
As always when I'm trying to delay doing any sort of school related work, I would either clean or organize whatever is within my sight. My family and housemates always knew when I had project deadlines or exams when they see my room or the apartment is spotless. I decided to do a little home decorating tonight =)
I can't believe these lights still work. I've had them for 5 years now! The apartment looks a little more festive for the season. Of course, these lights are nothing compared to the lights I saw tonight at The Living Christmas Tree musical!
I got this little tree as a table prize at my company's holiday party. I know the little guy looks a little sad but I like it. It's like my own Charlie Brown tree. I'll add more decorations as I find more things to put on it. =)I just realized I've never posted photos of my apartment. The place is still undergoing constant change as we lose and add furniture. I'm still working on finding time to paint the living room and my bedroom.
This is what my room looked like when I was sharing it w/ my friend. Guess which bed is mine! =P It was a rather cute and well placed arrangement. Everything fit perfectly! Except for my drawers... there was no space anywhere to put that big thing. After my roommate left, I moved my mattress to the corner but the space where my mattress is in this photo was empty for the longest time. I had plans to put my drawers there but never found the time to put the thing together, UNTIL TONIGHT!
I finally put my drawers together after 11 months! And w/ my mind for space and arrangement, everything fit perfectly as always =P But as you can see from these photos, the walls are pretty plain. Perhaps in another few months, I'll actually find time to paint!Alright, that's enough procrastination for the night.

Haha, procrastinatino, huh? We all know how that is. Your drawer set looks really nice! It's a great fit in the bedroom. The lights look good...but my old coffee table looks lonely. =( Perhaps I can help decorate and paint when I visit.
...so many students here are hanging out as if they didn't have finals! =|...or maybe it's b/c there are so many ppl here smarter than I am; they don't need to study much. That must be it. =S
Anyhow, Monkey misses you and looks fwd to heading back to SEA after he sees you in TO. He's currently hanging out on my bed since the window sill was very chilly last week. He gets more attn in our room and he doesn't have to share the spot w/ anyone. Esp since we had some cute kiddos over this week to play. I love having children around. =)
