Do I need to know?
"I need to know."
"No," Jesus said, "you need to trust."
This cut right to heart. How many times have I said "I need to know", and how many times has my Savior responded with, "No, you need to trust"? Too many times.
The better question to ask is, do I really need to know? If I don't find out, is it really the end of the world? Mostly likely the world will keep on spinning. I question myself whether or not I'm trusting God when I say this. It sure sounds like I'm not... I don't know... While I know I need to trust God with my future, I still think it's important to be informed so that I can make wise decisions...
I guess this is just one of the many things where it depends on what circumstance or what situation I'm in... I think if I think about this anymore, if I analyze every decision I make to see if it's something I need to know or if it's just something I need to trust God with, I'll go crazy.
Do I need to know? Maybe.
Do I need to trust? Definitely.

Trust. It's not an easy thing to gain or give when it comes to those around us. But it's one of the characteristics of God that we can definitely rely on. So why is it such a battle?? He's so good to us!!
