the summer of all summers

I found a place to live!! It only took 4 days cuz I wanted one last vacation before I start work so I spent most of the time travelling in the westcoast. My friend from Calgary, came out to Seattle with me and after helping me find a place to live, we drove all the way down to San Francisco! It was definitely one of the most enjoyable trips I've ever gone on. Driving down to California, we took Hwy 101, which runs along the west coast, through the state of Oregon. The scenery was absolutely amazing! At every winding turn of the road, we were stucked by breath-taking views of the ocean.



Every once in a while, we would get out of the car and walk around the shore. On the last day of our trip, we went hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park. I love the mountains and the lakes. It always leave me in humble adoration of God's majestic creation. The glacier mountain seemed almost close enough to touch! After two weeks, I feel refreshed. Taking in the fresh mountain air, soaking in the rays of the bright shining sun... it's amazing to think that from now on, I'll have all of this within an hour drive.



Anyways, it's going to be a crazy next few days! Gotta pack! My family and I are going to make one long road trip thru Canada and then to Seattle where they'll drop me off and then they'll drive all the way back to Toronto!!! I know, another crazy road trip!! I think we're leaving on Aug 4th... driving straight to Calgary where we'll hang for a few days, then on to Vancouver for a few days and then, Seattle! But first, rafting in Ottawa for the long weekend!! YAY!! I can't wait! This has been the best summer ever and I give all praise to God for giving me the opportunity to go on all these trips! Talk about my last summer vacation... I'm really making the most of it, aren't I?! First Europe with the archi guys, then crazy fun trip with my friend to the west and in a few days, rafting trip in Ottawa with my church buddies and ending with super long road trip across the continent with the family!

Ahhh... it's going to be so hard working!!! I wanna plan my 2-weeks vacation already! :P
